MAIN CAUSES OF STRESSAT WORK

Situations of failure + attention to them if they are not balanced by situations of success and joy and attention to them
Example: once when I was there, 14 people told an employee that she was entering data incorrectly. And when she entered them correctly, no one told her about it. How do you think her condition will change by the end of the day? And by the end of the month?

VUCA-the world we live in. This concept was introduced by Stefan Garros, it is an abbreviation of 4 words describing the modern world:

HOW DO I INTERACT WITH IT?
When you hear a text accompanied by an emotion, react first to the emotion. You can start with phrases: I know you’re excited… I understand your displeasure… Your indignation is appropriate…
Refrain from criticism and condemnation, if possible, give the person more support: tell me what he’s right about, what you agree with, what he’s good at.
When a person is on edge, any discussion can lead to conflict and rash actions. It is better to postpone the conversation by offering a specific time to relieve the other person’s anxiety.
I was once asked how to interact with a subordinate if she is always working under stress, but copes. However, sometimes in the evening she cries in the toilet.

What to do: understand why she is crying. If the reason is work, then our task is to solve this issue in order to save the employee.

Try to find out what causes the most stress. Then you need to eliminate the cause or give the employee a prescription for how to deal with this situation so that it does not injure her.
If you can’t remove the unpleasant, add the pleasant. Look for ways to give more pleasure and success, so that they balance the negative factors.
Hope and anticipation. Help her imagine the pleasant things that are waiting for her: returning home, taking a vacation, getting a promotion, or completing a project after a difficult period.

Stress becomes negative when a person loses faith that they can cope. It is difficult for the body to constantly be in a state of struggle, so long-term exposure to stress leads to unpleasant consequences.

Stress TOLERANCE?
Most often, stress is caused not by events, but by our thoughts about them. Stress tolerance depends on how a person sees the balance of positive and negative in their life.

Example: Maxim believes that there is a lot of joy, happiness, and success in his life. He has difficulties, but he thinks that their share is small, because he has achieved a lot, he always has the support of loved ones. Such an employee will be easier to survive the troubles and pressure, because they have something to rely on.

Everyone can adjust their thinking style and cope better with stress. Pay attention not only to difficulties, but also to joys. Remember the good things in your life. What makes you happier? What gives you pleasure? What are your big and small successes? Being aware of all the positive things you have achieved will help you cope with stress.
