HOW VISUALIZATION WILL SAVE YOUR PROJECT AND BRING THE TEAM TOGETHER
BRIGHT, CONCISE, ACCESSIBLE: HOW VISUALIZATION WILL SAVE YOUR PROJECT AND BRING THE TEAM TOGETHER
You have a large project with a huge amount of introductory information. How can I correctly tell the entire team about the goals, tasks, and specifics of the work?
Our trainer explains what visualization is and why it can solve a number of problems during project activities.

ADVANTAGES OF VISUALIZATION:
Deep work with information
A smaller amount of text.
Reduced through the use of images
The best tool for working with generation Y: everything is accessible, concise, bright and clear
Activation of thinking. Visualization involves both hemispheres of the brain
A bright and structured note is remembered better and longer
Multiple use. The poster can be placed as a reminder in a prominent place in the office. It is much easier to repeat the material from a synopsis than from a written notebook
OF ALL POSSIBLE VISUALIZATION METHODS, TWO FORMATS ARE MOST OFTEN USED.
Illustrated notes with characters, quotes, arrows, and other elements. They help you organize, remember, and make sense of information.
Organizing group work: forming a vision and values, setting goals, planning steps, etc.
Graphic facilitation takes place in two formats:
Pre-prepared-visual template method
Without preparation-synchronous visual work with teams
Templates are brightly designed posters, most often on a flipchart sheet, with designated places to fill in.
In them, participants enter information, stick special cards or make notes on stickers and attach them.
Templates save time and set the algorithm of work, increasing the group dynamics of the team and involvement in the process.
THE STAGES OF VISUALIZATION
Visualization is, first of all, working with meaning, and then design and drawing. Based on this, there are 3 stages:
Collecting, analyzing, and structuring information. Select
convenient visualization template, font and color scheme.
The division into large meaningful units.
Choose a name and bright images, if necessary —
reflect the relationship between the blocks.
The structuring of information within the blocks.
Use paragraphs, arrows, and bullet points.
HOW TO USE VISUALIZATION IN PROJECT ACTIVITIES
Visualization not only translates information, but also contributes to greater engagement in the work. An important condition is that everyone should have the materials. To do this, use electronic platforms or assign a special place in the office, equipping it with a Board.
Templates with stickers
When assigning roles, functions, or tasks to a project, prepare a template in advance. Fill it out during the meeting with the team. If the template is universal and will be used in the future, use stickers of different shapes and colors. They are convenient to move, add and remove.
Control of terms
Use tailored templates, calendars, Kanban. Place them on the wall in your office or on an electronic platform. This way the team will be able to monitor the stages of work on the project, improve the quality of internal communications and engagement.
Do a retrospective. Prepare a template with a time feed, involving all participants, and gather complete information about the project. Place the information in chronological order and analyze it. Record all the achievements and lessons learned that need to be taken into account when planning your next projects.
Have you ever tried visualization in practice?
This is a great reason to start! Focus on teamwork: all participants will enjoy the process and get to know each other better.
